Yoga Coach
My journey with yoga began 15 years ago. Being an avid runner who has suffered through aches and pains over the years of pounding the pavement, I realized I could greatly benefit from yoga’s effects on strength, flexibility, and balance.
I started practicing regularly and soon feel deep within the practice. In 2012, I decided to take my 200hrs Hatha Yoga Teacher Training in Canmore, Canada. The practice of Yoga has taught me awareness of body and breath and to always find peace in chaos.
I have realized that both yoga and running teach us to focus on the present moment.
Mindfulness is a key part of yoga and running, as both find themselves focusing on the task at hand, without worrying about the problems of our daily lives. Breath awareness has allowed me to pace myself and run more efficiently. Quieting the mind while stretching and strengthening my body has helped me to relieve pain of muscle tension caused by long runs and daily stress.
I hope my classes allow you to calm the mind, build strength, and increase awareness. It is a true pleasure and honor to inspire and share this practice with others.
Wellness Coach (Sound
healing & Reiki)
Rajam Mulkar is a certified sound healer and reiki master. Her journey with yoga began at a young age, growing up surrounded by the philosophy and practice of this ancient knowledge. Over the years, yoga became more than a practice for her; it evolved into a way of life. It taught her the transformative power of movement, breath, and stillness in nurturing the mind-body connection.
At BOC Mind, she aims to share this journey by helping others discover how to harness their inner power and bring balance to the mind and body through movement, Pranayama/breath work, sound healing, and Reiki. She believes that true wellness comes from cultivating harmony within and exploring the tools that make this possible.
Outside of yoga, she is deeply passionate about brewing kombucha and crafting fermented drinks and vegetables for their ability to nourish both the body and the gut.
In her free time, she can often be found playing the piano, tending to her plants, spending time with her cheeky cat Garfield and teaching him new tricks (yes, cats can do tricks too!), or curled up with a good book.

Is osteopathy safe for first-time patients? Short answer: yes — when performed by a qualified practitioner it’s a low‑risk, patient‑centred approach that prioritises comfort and clear progress. 🩺✨
What a safe first visit looks like:
- Thorough intake: your history, current symptoms, activity levels and any medical concerns are reviewed before hands‑on work. 📝
- Targeted assessment: movement screening and specific tests identify the root cause — not just the painful spot. 🔎
- Tailored treatment: techniques (gentle soft‑tissue work, joint mobilisation, fascia release or light manipulation) are chosen to match your needs and tolerance.
- Communication & consent: you’ll get clear explanations of findings, proposed techniques, benefits and possible short‑term reactions. 💬
Safety considerations:
- Practitioners screen for red flags (recent fractures, serious illness, contraindications) and adapt care for pregnancy, post‑op patients or chronic conditions. ⚠️✅
- Mild soreness or tiredness after treatment can happen as tissues settle; serious side effects are uncommon with trained clinicians. 🛌
How osteopathy supports recovery and performance:
- Restores mobility, reduces pain and improves movement patterns — helpful for everyday aches and sports‑related niggles. 🏃♀️💪
- Best outcomes come from combining hands‑on care with guided rehab, load management and simple home exercises. 🔄
Quick tips for first‑timers:
- Bring relevant medical records and recent scans if available. 📂
- Ask questions — what will be done, why, and what to expect afterwards. ❓
- Start conservatively and follow through with recommended exercises. 🔁
Share this if you’re thinking about trying osteopathy or know someone nervous about their first visit.
